More than 2000 engineering staff serves for MagnTek global wise. So far, design, application support and technical service centers have been set up in Europe, North America and Asia, providing customers with high standard service and high reliability products. MagnTek provides full series of Hall-effect based integrated magnetic sensor ICs, including unipolar, bipolar, omnipolar magnetic digital position sensor IC products, magnetic linear and angular position sensor ICs and magnetic speed sensor ICs.
MagnTek's digital magnetic position sensor IC is analog and digital mixed-signal integrated circuit, which could be used to measure the magnetic field of a certain threshold level and providing a digital voltage output. So it can be used to detect a precise position.
This type of IC is widely used in all kinds of position detection applications, including industrial applications like brushless DC motors, phone wake / sleep detection, air supply/cooling fan of air-conditioner, etc., as well as automotive application like seatbelt testing, wiper motor, anti-pinch electric windows systems and shifter，etc., to help customers effectively improve system reliability.
This series of sensor IC provide an output signal proportional to the linear change of magnetic field. By proper magnetic field and electric circuit design, users can easily develop a linear, angular position or current strength detection sensor based on this series of products. The programmable products have been released to reduce the difficulty of secondary development, making the high-precision non-contact position detection possible.
MagnTek's magnetic speed sensor IC is mixed signal IC based on Bi-CMOS technology, which could be applied to detect the magnet field change generated by a rotary gear or ring magnet, sending out a digital pulse output proportional to the rotation speed. They can be widely used in various speed detection applications, especially engine CAM/Crank or transmission system. Special process is used to guarantee the reliability of this series of products when applied to high voltage exposure application, especially heavy duty commercial vehicle. Quadrature output or complementary output option is also available to effectively simplify the circuit design of related applications for customer, which can significantly helps to reduce cost and improve system reliability.
